We took a run out to the Otay Truck Trail with our General Sales Manager Mir Sadat and our Service Manager Taz Courmousis, turning a regular workday into a chance to put the Grenadier on real dirt, shoot some content, and explore one of the most unique off-road zones in San Diego.
Otay is one of those trails that gives you a little bit of everything — elevation, tight switchbacks, wide-open ridge lines, and views straight into Mexico. It’s rugged, remote, and a perfect proving ground for what the Grenadier was built to handle.
Mir and Taz jumped right into it. We ran the trail, dialed in some content shots, and took our time checking out the landscape. Up near the top of the ridge, we had a clear view of the border and watched Border Patrol working the area. It’s not every day you get to see that part of San Diego from this perspective — rugged, raw, and wide open.
The trucks handled every section with ease, giving us a chance to talk shop, get creative with the cameras, and see the terrain from behind the wheel instead of behind a desk. No issues, no surprises — just a clean run with two guys who know these vehicles inside and out.
Huge shout to Mir and Taz for taking the time to get out there, get dusty, and help capture what the Grenadier does best.
Another day on the trail — and another reminder of why we do what we do.
